Wind turbine ventilators

What are Wind Ventilators?

Wind turbine ventilators are exactly as the name implies, they are a ventilator that is powered by the wind to create effective ventilation for different industries. This product works on wind assisted ventilation. Turbine ventilators are round metal vents with fins in them. Even just a little bit of wind can be just enough for the turbo ventilator to rotate. The faster the wind, the faster the turbine will rotate and exhaust the heat, smoke, fumes, humidity, etc.

The mechanics involved in the air movement is very simple. The hot air inside the shed tends to rise up. When the turbines rotate, they suck the warm air out through the vent, thereby, bringing out a drop in temperature in the shed and allow supply of fresh air through doors and windows.

The size, number and installation all depend on different factors which include wind velocity, temperature differential, environment conditions, and the size of the building. Turbine vents have been vastly used for many years in residential, agriculture, industrial buildings and warehouses.

PRODUCTS:

  • Aluminium Models
  • Stainless Steel Models

How does it work?

  • Seven Rays Ventilators are placed on rooftops of industrial sheds.
  • Industrial activity generates heat and hot air being lighter moves upwards.
  • The lighter air get accumulated in the turbine of the Seven Rays Ventilator.
  • As the hot air tries to escape from the turbine, it exerts a backwards thrust on the vanes and sets them in a rotational movement.
  • This rotation creates a suction, which pulls more hot air from the room into the turbine.
  • This rotation creates a suction, which pulls more hot air from the room into the turbine.
  • With the help of natural wind blowing over the rooftop, the RPM of the turbine increases.
  • This increases the discharge capacity of the Seven Rays ventilator.
  • As the hot air is thrown out, fresh air starts entering through windows and door openings.
  • The Seven Rays Ventilator thus generates continuous air circulation within the room resulting in cooler inside temperatures & discharge of foul smells.
  • Hygienic work conditions result in improved productivity.

Applications:

  • Factories & workshops:
  • In factories and workshops, the hot and humid working conditions are induced due to various operations carried out, the numerous motors and machinery installed. Improper ventilation will lead to workmen fatigue and lower levels of productivity. In some cases such conditions of working may lead to labour unrest also. The Seven Rays Wind Ventilator can resolve this issue very easily.

  • Godowns & warehouses
  • Godowns and Warehouses require ventilation to avoid deterioration of products stored. Also, there are huge electricity costs associated with conventional ventilators and the there are chances of rodents eating out the electrical wiring. Seven Rays Wind Ventilators function for 365 days a year and 24 hours a day without any problems.
